In the 2022 general election, there are two candidates in running for Circuit Court Clerk in Jefferson County:
Laura Storm (currently serving as Circuit Court Clerk) is the Democratic Party candidate.
Tina Renner is the Republican Party candidate.
The Circuit Court Clerk is an administrative position that manages the operations of the circuit court. The Clerk coordinates the jury system, processes all of the documents filed with the court, and assists individuals who are involved in criminal, civil, adoption, domestic relations & guardianship cases with the administrative (non-judicial) aspects of the court process.
