Jefferson County Shows Its Halloween Spirits

October 28, 2022 Tagged With: Halloween

Local businesses & residences brighten the night with creative Halloween displays. Maria’s Taqueria in Shepherdstown has a traditional “day of the dead” theme window display, this year with a nod to the current business climate. Needful Things Emporium in Charles Town definitely has the creepiest window display –– Freddie is the tamest element. If you are in either downtown, you can take a walk into the nearby residential neighborhoods to see some fun and creative displays –– just don’t lose your head. The Huntfield neighborhood is always a good bet for many “spook-tacular” displays –– some definitely not recommended for the faint of heart. Along with the scary, there are many who opt for the traditional pumpkin or two –– or two dozen.
