Setting Priorities
Krista Hoffman, the JCDA executive director gave a presentation titled “2025 JCDA – Economic Development 101” to explain what the organization does and the role of the new board members in fulfilling its mission.
Hoffman described the role of board members as “ambassadors” who would share expertise and assist staff to support the JDCA mission.
Hoffman also highlighted three strategic priorities for the JCDA:
- Clean Advanced Manufacturing
- Agriculture
- Tourism
At the end of the presentation, Hoffman outlined the key tasks for the board, the first of which is to update the JCDA strategic plan, which would include reviewing the strategic priorities of the organization.
